This is the Best of our Solution dyed Polyester Canvas Materials. ) While most add a fleece lining to there order on the canvas type materials as a two cover system this fiber tends to be soft enough to the touch and many opt out of the fleece saving a little money on that part while being happy with the texture of this type of material on their car. ( we always recommend considering a two cover system as a fleece will protect the cars paint to a much greater degree.)
Polyester fibers start out as a liquid acrylic polymer solution. When piece-dyed or “stock” fabrics are made, the fibers are dipped into a vat of dye. Only the outer surface of the fibers are colored; the interior of each fiber remains white. The method produces a great color, and it allows manufacturers to create smaller batches of fabric using less dye. Most synthetic fibers are dyed this way. 
Solution-dyed fibers are colored in an entirely different way. The dye is added to the chemical solution before the individual fibers are even made. This means that the dye is completely mixed into each fiber.. The color doesn’t just sit on the surface; it goes all the way through the fiber.
